Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to what families ask us most, organised the same way our virtual assistant does, so you can find things quickly here or by chatting with us directly.
Care & Dementia Services
Do you provide 24-hour nursing care?
Yes. Registered nurses are on-site around the clock at both centres, providing supervision, monitoring and clinical support to keep every resident safe and comfortable, day and night.
Do you offer support for seniors who don't live at the centre full-time?
Yes. Alongside long-term residential care, we offer Day Care Services for seniors who need supervision and activities during the day but return home in the evening, as well as Respite / Holiday Care for short, temporary stays.
Do you care for residents with dementia or memory-related conditions?
Our Geriatric & Elderly Care and Nursing Care & Support services are built around each resident's individual level of dependency, which includes residents living with memory-related conditions. Speak with our team about your loved one's specific needs so we can advise on the right level of support.
Packages & Pricing
Are there different care packages available?
Yes. We offer a range of room configurations, including single private rooms, twin-sharing and multi-bed assisted living suites, along with different levels of nursing, therapy and daily support tailored to each resident's care requirements.
What is the monthly fee structure?
Fees depend on each resident's room configuration and level of nursing or medical support needed, so we don't publish a fixed rate online. Message us on WhatsApp or during a centre visit and we'll walk you through pricing for your specific situation.
What's typically included, and what might cost extra?
Typical inclusions are 24-hour nursing supervision, meals throughout the day, physiotherapy support, laundry and housekeeping, and a regular calendar of activities.
Specialised wound care, additional clinical procedures, diagnostic or medical consumables and intensive personalised rehabilitation may be arranged separately, depending on individual assessment.
Admissions & Documents
What documents are required for admission?
Generally: a copy of the resident's NRIC or passport, a copy of the next-of-kin's or guardian's NRIC, recent medical reports and a current medication list, a hospital discharge summary where applicable, and any relevant lab or imaging reports.
Our team will confirm the full checklist for your situation when you enquire.
Do you accept residents directly from hospital?
Yes. We regularly welcome seniors transitioning from hospital into short-term recovery, rehabilitation or ongoing nursing care. Please share the hospital discharge summary, treatment timeline and medication list in advance so our team can prepare appropriately.
Medical & Emergencies
Can residents continue seeing their own personal doctors?
Yes. Residents are free to continue with their existing specialists, and transport and escort assistance to appointments can be arranged, subject to availability. Ask our team about scheduling and any associated costs.
What happens during a medical emergency?
Our on-duty nurses respond immediately to assess and stabilise the resident, the family or next-of-kin is contacted right away, and where hospital care is needed we coordinate with emergency services to arrange transport.
Daily Life & Visitors
What activities do residents participate in daily?
A typical day includes physiotherapy or light exercise, social and recreational activities such as games, arts and music therapy, and quieter moments for rest and reflection. See our Life at Mercy page for a fuller look at a typical day.
Are families allowed to visit anytime?
Visiting hours are kept flexible for immediate family. Please check with our centre team when planning your visit, especially for larger groups. We ask visitors to register at the front desk and to follow basic hygiene practices to protect residents.
